Losing My Religion Song Interpretation

Here’s my interpretation of what it is about, and an explanation of what it is about for me. The song for me is about the efforts of conveying your love to someone, trying to get them to understand how much you love them, without saying it straight out because of the fear of losing them all together.

“Life is bigger, it’s bigger than you” is a statement, logically true. It shouldn’t be the end of the world that she doesn’t love you.

“And you are not me” is the sad truth, she’s not on the same page, you are not a part of each other.

“The lenghts that I will go to” shows the power of the love, that you will go to the end of the world for her. “The distance in your eyes” is her lack of interest in you, she’s not there with you with the same emotions. “I set it up” means that you’re trying to create situations where the truth will come out, where you will get what you want.

“That’s me in the corner, that’s me in the spotlight”, you are everywhere, in the background and right in front of her. “losing my religion”, losing your faith that she loves you, losing your faith in love all together. Losing your belief that soulmates would be together no matter what.

“Trying to keep up with you, and I don’t know if I can do it”, trying to stop her from walking away from you, trying to keep moving on together, not sure that it’s working.

“Oh no I’ve said too much, I haven’t said enough”, the fear that you hinted too strongly, that it has become too obvious that you love her. Wanting to tell her more, to let it all out, thinking that maybe she didn’t get your hints, that they weren’t obvious enough.

“I thought that I heard you laughing, I thought that I heard you sing”, You thought you were going in the right direction, you thought she was there with you. “I think I thought I saw you try”, you thought she was hinting back, but you are so unsure.

“Every whisper, of every waking hour, I’m choosing my confessions”, every second of your time you’re thinking about what to reveal and what not to, planning what to say to her. “Trying to keep an eye on you”, trying to see how she reacts, what she feels and thinks about what you’re saying. “like a hurt lost and blinded fool”, you’re hurt that she doesn’t respond to your hints, you’re lost in what to do, you feel blind because you thought that you saw that she felt something for you and you feel like a fool because you allowed yourself to think that she would love you back.

“consider this, consider this, the hint of the century”, you give her the most obvious hint of your love that you can think of. “The slip that brought me to my knees failed”, you gave her the hint of a lifetime, so huge it was basically a slip and the emotional impact it had on you to tell her brought you to your knees, beat you down. But still she did not respond to you.

“What if all these fantasies come flailing around”, express the fear you have that your fantasies about you two together will never become a reality. “Now I’ve said too much”, there it was, you want to be with her and you just let yourself think it. There’s no way back, you can’t take that thought back.

“That was just a dream”, all your hinting was for nothing, it turns out she doesn’t love you back and you had just created what you wanted to be there, but what was not really.

Argentina in Beijing 2008 Olympic Part-1

  First of all I would like to apologize to all readers here cos I wasn’t able to provide updates on the Olympics match, as it happens. It’s difficult for me because I couldn’t able to watch the Olympics games L . So this mail will give you the consolidated updates of three matches that Argentina won.
  
  
  Before that I have observed that many peoples are not giving that much attention on Olymics football games. Guys wake up ..Treat these games as Soccer world Cup. In this Beijing 2008 Olympic you could see many main players Messi, Riquelme, Robino, Ronaldino ,Viduka, Dorba etc. Let me tell all the teams are playing quality games.
  
  Anyways .. back to Business ..Argentina have won all their battles against Ivory Costa, Australia and Serbia and qualified for the quarter-finals where they are scheduled to met in the Nederland . If they won then Semi final will be big Party for us cos if Argentina beat Netherlands and Brazil beat Cameroon in the quarter-finals then the South American teams are scheduled to meet in the semi-finals. Sounds Gr8J.
  
  In last game Argentina beat Serbia 2-0. In that match Argentina coach Sergio Batista did not bring Lionel messi, Riquelme and Javier Mascherano. The goal scored by Ezequil Lavezzi and fantastic free kick by Diego Buonanotte.
  
  In the first match of the Olympic Lionel Messi starred for Argentina. It has been long controversy for the Lionel Messi for the olymic games. Barcelona doesn't want Lionel Messi to be in Argentina's lineup even but Lionel messi wanted to play for his beloved country ..so that leads to lot of mess but thanks God now messi is allowed to play for his country . In that first match Messi scored the opening Goal … and what a pass by Riquelme … He is really one Blessed Player on the Earth.. No words for Juan Riquelme ..(in my next article I will only speak about Riquelme J). So Argentina won that game by 2-1. Lautaro Acosta scored second goal for Argentina.
  
  Argentina played second match against Australia and once again Masterful Lionel Messi inspired Argentina to a hard-fought 1-0 win over a defensive Australia. In that match Ezequiel Lavezzi scored only goal for Argentina.
  
  That was the complete summery for three games. The next quarter-final game will be against Nederland on Saturday. Hope we will see Argentina in semi final against Brazil. That will be gr8 Sega .

I am breathless, short of words, elated and most excited. Indian football team deserves a heartiest congratulations from all Indians. AFC Challenge cup final at Ambedkar Stadium on 13th August 2008, has been one of the most glorious moments in Indian Football history. We saw boys tremendously charged up right from the kick up. 3 goals in 23 minutes against Tajikistan

Congrats Sunil for your first international hattrick on the day it was required for team India. Congratulations Baichung and your team for taking India to Asia Cup 2011 at Qatar. 24 years of thirst has been quenched.

With today's win against Tajikistan we have arrived at the elite Asian stage. Full credit for this win goes to the coach Bob Houghton and the players.

After long time I am writing you. Before that I would like to give you some updates about two friendly matches that were happened against Mexico and USA. Argentina trashed Mexico by 4-0 and draw with USA 0-0 . After these silly friendly now it’s a serious time for world cup qualifier. That going to be happened in Sunday and coming Tuesday and against two giants Equator and Brazil. Argentina had bad performance against Brazil in last three matches. So this times lets hope better results .

Diego Maradona has opened his heart about his love and admiration for Carlos Tevez - and backed his fellow Argentine to become a Manchester United legend.

The former Argentina star has arranged a trip to England to watch Tevez in action at Old Trafford in their Premiership clash with Wigan on October 6.

It will be a special pilgrimage for Maradona who will take part in the "Hand of God" rematch between the England and Argentina teams of 1986 at Villa Park on October 14.

But Maradona is equally keen to see Tevez as he treats him like a son and the pair have an incredibly strong bond of mutual respect.

Maradona even played a role in persuading Tevez to go to Old Trafford in the summer as he is such a big admirer of English football and believes Tevez will be a huge success alongside Wayne Rooney.

Maradona said: "Tevez is like a son to me - from the moment I met him I have felt like that. I met him six years ago when he was at Boca Juniors and instantly I could see he was going to be great. "He reminded me of when I was his age - the hunger and the passion for the game.

Every second he had a ball with him he was happy.

"We are still so close and my ex-wife and his wife are very good friends.

"I can't wait to get over to England and see him and for him to come to watch me play.

"I will make sure he sees a good game when we play England. I still have the hunger to play well and score goals and that's what I will do."

Q - The press conference after the Copa America left very little. Can we lengthen the analysis you made of the tournament?

B - Argentina won five games and lost one, but it was the main one. Brasil defeated us well but from the start I must say that I liked the way Argentina played. A good base of players was formed but we weren’t able to finish.To win five games by a wide goal margin is not easy. The things we failed in I can not tell you. I keep that to myself.

Q - Do you agree with the idea that Brasil defeated Argentina because of a rigorous system of pressure and counter attack?

B - They already did it but let’s see how they play with stars like Ronaldinho and Kaka. With them they can not play the same way again. They placed all the pressure on us that Argentina had to win no matter what. They defended well, committing alot of fouls but its a tactical way of defending. That’s how in the right moment they scored the goals. They put the game away in the first half and in the second half they defended with ten players in their own half of the field and we weren’t able to enter in anywhere. They won well but they didn’t win the way that the history of Brasil demands. I’ll argue that with anyone.

Q - It’s been alot of years that Argentina has not won anything. Do you have to work that issue differently with the players?

B - No, the players leave right away. When can I work that? You have to understand that: the national team can not train long term, nor does it have alot of time to do so. The players that are based in Argentina can not train long term either because their clubs have the league and international cups during the week. The training work on the field is over, let’s finish with that already because there is no time. For those that are playing in Argentina there is also fewer chances, against them is that every two days they have to play for something. That’s how it is. We got together for the Copa America and the team played, I repeat, really good. Enough of lying to the fans. This won’t happen only in the friendlies, it’ll also happen in the world cup qualifiers.

Q - So, it all depends on how the players wake up the day of the game?

B - It’s not so much that. I at least have a system of play and the team plays the way I say. Is that clear? A club team is better prepared tactically than a national team. I’m tired of being told about working with players who are worth 40 million Euros and who have obligations with their club teams that does not permit them to dedicate themselves exclusively to the national team. Whether you like it or not. And whoever wants a change let them put up a mountain of money to buy the players that are in Barcelona, Inter, and other places and bring them to me in Ezeiza.

Q - But before you signed you knew about all these matters.

B - When I signed my contract with AFA they didn’t tell me a fairy tale. I knew how things were and once you’re in charge you have to deal with it. Anyhow, I’m not missing any hope, or else I would’ve left.

Q - So then, the idea of working with the domestic players failed?

B - You didn’t see how all the injuries during the time we had in Ezeiza hurt the plans? The players get injured because they have to play Sunday and Wednesday. We work with a direct line to the clubs; and even, if we have to travel to talk to the managers of the European clubs, it is done. The players get injured because they play two games per week, Agreed?, not because of the national team.

Q - Do you have the base of players for the WC qualifiers set?

B - I’m looking at 44 players, more or less. And with these friendlies I can look at cases like Garay, see how he kicks the ball, how tall he is, how he comes out to defend. It’s useful to see live in action everything that we follow through videos. But to know if he’ll be Ayala’s successor we have to wait, the World Cup is in 2010, but we have to start the qualifiers. I’m looking for players but the base will be the players that were in the Copa America and played so well. But we must improve things because sometimes it is not enough, like what happened to us against Brasil.

Q - It’s clear that you can’t repeat the same setup of the Copa America because Riquelme is not here?

B - There’s no other player like Riquelme. At this moment I can’t make a decision about him because he does not have a club, he doesn’t play, he doesn’t train. If I find a Riquelme I can return to that setup, only if I find one. Anyway, the problem is through where you want to play. The playmaker disappears, everyone plays 4-4-2 but I don’t like it. I want to do it with a playmaker.

Q - Definitively, if he doesn’t find a club he won’t be called up?

B - The player that does not have a club and is not active in competition, How am I going to call him up !!!! If you’re not playing football you can’t be on the national team. Let’s speak clearly. If you’re not playing for the 3 points and have the pressure to win for your club, How are you going to play for the national team?. Unless you’re a superstar, I can’t wait on anyone.

Q - And since you don’t have Riquelme. Will you use 3 forwards against Norway?

B - And because Messi is a little bit of everything, a little bit of a right winger, a little bit of a forward and a little bit of a playmaker, he plays all over the field and you can’t contain him, he’s a superstar in the making. Obviously, we have to see how he evolves during his career. Only time has the final answers…….Patience.

Do these problems mean that multivalued columns are useless? Probably not. Oracle introduced two kinds of support for multivalued columns with the 8.0 release of their server:
For modelling one-to-many relationships, Oracle supports two collection
datatypes: varrays and nested tables. For example, a purchase order has
an arbitrary number of line items, so you may want to put the line items
into a collection.

Varrays have a maximum number of elements, although you can change
the upper bound. The order of elements is defined. Varrays are stored
as opaque objects (that is, raw or BLOB).

Nested tables can have any number of elements, and you can select,
insert, delete, and so on the same as with regular tables. The order
of the elements is not defined. Nested tables are stored in a storage
table with every element mapping to a row in the storage table.

If you need to loop through the elements in order, store only a fixed
number of items, or retrieve and manipulate the entire collection as a
value, then use varrays.

If you need to run efficient queries on collections, handle arbitrary
numbers of elements, or do mass insert/update/delete operations, then
use nested tables. If the collections are very large and you want to
retrieve only subsets, you can model the collection as a nested table
and retrieve a locator for the result set.

For example, a purchase order object may have a nested table of line
items, while a rectangle object may contain a varray with 4 coordinates.
With the nested tables option, Oracle is simply doing what an RDBMS purist would have told you to do in the first place: use multiple tables to represent many-to-one relations.
